Just like what has always preceded the launch of past iPhone series, rumour mills are at it again. This time, buyers are being kept at the edge of their seats in anticipation of the iPhone 5. Whether is the idea of an a tear-drop shaped phone or a 4 inch display with fascinating features almost out of this world, the iPhone is bound to surprise either the rumour mongers or the buyers.
The wait has been long and this has only worked to entice the technological taste-buds of eager buyers. Unless one is working inside Foxconn, the Chinese company that made iPhone4, and has been involved in the direct development of the new iPhone, the rest for now remains speculation.
The major question that many are asking is when the phone will be launched. However, before we know this well-kept secret, let us look at what to expect in terms of features expected to be present. First of all, will the iPhone still be referred as iPhone 5? Based on recent trends, Apple might be changing the naming pattern. As we have witnessed in many other technology companies, there is always the need to break from the traditional naming system. We witnessed that in Microsoft windows naming system. Of recent, Apple named their iPad 3 the “new iPad”. So rumour has it that this gadget will be named based on the OS is will run on. Let’s call it ‘new iPhone’ or ‘ iPhone iOS6’.
Talking about the operating system, Apple announced last year about their new OS at the WWWD conference. The iOS6 is able to integrate major social networking features. For example, one thing expected from the iOS6 will be a fully integrated Facebook platform to add to the twitter platform we saw in iOS5. This integration, many analysts see as an attempt to make the new iPhone the ‘centre of your social world’.
iPhone 5 is expected to step ahead of the competitions from other top-tech phone manufacturers especially android supported phones like Samsung Galaxy and NTC. Most of these phones have come up with very interesting features, and Apple being the pacesetters they have always been, are expected to make a statement with the Iphone5. We expect an improvement in the camera capability going to 8MP dual LED flash camera, probably one that is able to take pictures in panorama or even 3D. There have been unverified reports of Apple filling patents in the US for 3D camera app.
While it would be hard to know exactly what comes with the new iPhone, some of the expected features include iMessage which is able to link with all Apple family of gadgets inform of chat. It is also expected to have iCloud app which wirelessly links with other Apple gadgets storing photos, music and data in other memories saving some GB space on your phone.
So when do we see the iPhone 5? Most analysts expect it to be released in September. However, we have reports that the phone might as well as be delayed till next summer. But the most speculated date is 12th September 2012. This will be almost a year after the launch of iPhone 4s. Apple might not hold for a longer date as competition rises especially from Samsung Galaxy SIII. However, the date remains just that; a speculation. This article is brought by Logo Quiz Answers and Logo Quiz.
